CROCHET PATTERNS (Pattern #63 Erica Mammosa) – 365 Flowers Bouquet Project

Introduction

I’ve chosen the Erica mammosa variety (Nine-pin Heath) for today’s challenge. This South African flowering shrub from the Ericaceae family, can grow up to 1.8m tall if left undisturbed. The inflorescences are formed at the tip of the spike branches. The flowers are tubular with a closed mouth about 15-20mm long. The colour varies from pink to purple, orange-red to dark red, greenish cream to white.
