Introduction
Oxalis is a bulbous perennial plant, a type of wood-sorrel native to South Africa and South America. The leaves have three leaflets, which makes them quite similar to clover leaves. The flowers have 5 petals fused at base with colour varying from white to pink, red or yellow and 10 yellow stamens.
The variety I’ve chosen is called Oxalis magnifica and it is native to Oaxaca states, Mexico. The stems carry dozens of large, pink, attractive flowers all through the summer.
