Flower crochet pattern in Irish crochet style
The following pattern is based on an antique Irish crochet motif compiled by Therese de Dillmont in her book, Masterpieces of Irish Crochet Lace, 1986 edition.

Crochet Flower centre
Wrap thread around your thumb 5 times, pull the loops of the finger and work 30 sc over the cord. Join with sl st, 1ch, turn
R1: make (2sc on the front loops of the sts from previous row, 1picot) x 15, finish with sl st. Fasten off.
Position the centre over the hole in the corolla, flip backwards and working on the back of the flower, stitch the two pieces together, making sure you catch in the seam the 4ch/6ch loops between the petals.
That’s all! The crochet pattern is ready! I didn’t use the padding cord inside the petals, I tried to keep it simple.
